Supporting production with in-house toolmaking
Our dedicated onsite toolroom plays a vital role in maintaining and improving the tooling that underpins our day-to-day operations. By managing tooling in-house, we ensure maximum control over quality, availability and turnaround times.We operate a strict Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) schedule, servicing all tools every six months. Each tool is tested using our tryout press to confirm performance and maintain production quality.
For tooling design, we use VERO software to create precise programmes for our Hurco machining centres and Charmilles EDM machine. We ensure that every tool is manufactured to the highest standard.
