In 2023 the business took the decision to replace two of its existing Co2 robot cells with new Fanuc Arcmate 100 and in 2024 introduce a third cell to the same standard giving us extra welding capacity.

In late 2024 Metal Assemblies also purchased a state-of-the-art twin door Fanuc spot welding cell that brings it capacity to four spot welding cells within the business. This brings our total investment in 23/24 in new robot cells to £298,000.
